Prescriptions

Our receptionists are not able to take your medication requests over the telephone.

Either bring your repeat prescription to the surgery or post it to us (remember to enclose a stamped addressed envelope so we can send it back to you). Your prescription should be ready after two working days.

If you are on repeat medication, you can now register to participate in a scheme to enable online ordering of repeat prescriptions. Please ask at our reception counter for more details of this service.

If you are already registered for this service click on the following link to take you to the Patient Access on-line services website: www.patient.co.uk

Oral contraception prescriptions

A yellow pill check form will need to be completed at least 28 days before you run out of your medication. Click here to download the form (DOCX, 25KB) or the form is available in the surgery. The doctor will need you to take your height, weight and blood pressure (any missed questions may delay your prescription being ready on time) depending on the information given on the form the doctor may issue you a prescription for a maximum of 12 months.
