Changes to repeat prescription ordering

The way repeat prescriptions are ordered has changed. Since the 30th June 2019 you have to order your repeat prescriptions directly through our GP practice, and not your high street or internet pharmacy or appliance contractor.

To help with ordering repeat medication, you can sign up to Online Services, please speak to a receptionist about signing up.

For more information please see the West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group's website HERE

Either bring your repeat prescription to the surgery or post it to us (remember to enclose a stamped addressed envelope so we can send it back to you). Your prescription should be ready after two working days.

Our receptionists are not able to take your medication requests over the telephone.

If you are on repeat medication, you can now register to participate in a scheme to enable online ordering of repeat prescriptions. Please ask at our reception counter for more details of this service.

If you are already registered for this service click on the following link to take you to the Patient Access on-line services website:

A yellow pill check form will need to be completed at least 28 days before you run out of your medication. Click here to download the form or the form is available in the surgery. The doctor will need you to take your height, weight and blood pressure (any missed questions may delay your prescription being ready on time) depending on the information given on the form the doctor may issue you a prescription for a maximum of 12 months.
